I've just had an outstanding meal at The Seafood Grill. My friends shared oysters which were fresh and has a nice variety of sauce pairings. I snuck a few smelts and calamari which were very tasty. The marinara was a very flavourful accompaniment. The calamari was fresh and flavourful, and had a good crunch without a hint of oilyness. My fish taco had a generous piece of battered haddock, over purple slaw and drizzled with chipotle mayo that had a pleasant smoked chili flavour. My bouillabaisse was delicious and came with a generous amount of trout and mussels, with some clams and shrimps for good measure. My friends raved about the octopus which just looked like a work of art in the broth and was visibly tender with a nice char on the outside. Tartufos for dessert were killer and even the espressos impressed. Not one thing came short of incredible.

We love coming here! The food is always super fresh, it is a great spot, servers are nice too. You have to frequently ask to get refills but the food makes up for it. Would recommend the calamari, haddock fish and chips and the panko shrimp!

My family have eaten at this little restaurant for so many years and have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and tasty. The sushi is great too. You can also order special grills that are not in the menu. I love the service here! Everyone looks happy and friendly. It is rare to see this type of old-fashioned restaurant service nowadays! The restaurant does not take reservation and is usually busy so you may have to wait. The only thing that is not perfect is parking as there are not enough parking spots.

We ordered 5 cooked market lobsters from the Merivale Fish Market for Mother's Day. They were delicious and reasonably-priced for the size (about 1.5 lbs). The service at the Fish Market was really friendly and efficient. Not the first time we have ordered in advance, and will definitely do it again!

We were organizing a lobster dinner for 16 on a Sunday. It was near impossible to find a supplier for fresh lobster on a Sunday. The earliest I could get them shipped or availalbe was the Friday before. But Merivale Fish Market could and did! They had 16 lobsters freshly cooked and ready by noon on Sunday. They were delicious and loved by everyone. Definitely recommend!!

How had we not eaten here before?! We loved our experience at the Seafood Grill. The interior feels intimate and is a nice mix of rustic and modern. The staff was so attentive, kind, and provided us with excellent recommendations from the menu. We tried the calamari, spring roll, clam chowder, bouillabaisse, and haddock fish and chips. The meal was outstanding, with the bouillabaisse being the standout and the spring roll the weak link, though it was still good. We are excited to return in order to try the sushi menu, available Wednesday to Saturday.

Really amazing seafood. The oysters are delicious and have good sauce pairings. My favourite dish was the Atlantic salmon with rice but other dishes such as the Tony's Bouillabaisse and fresh cod. The wait time is a little long but the servers are friendly and polite.
